The customer reached out to Timberline Patio Covers to fully transform their backyard into an inviting outdoor living space. Previously underutilized, the backyard had not been a priority. They envisioned not only adding a patio cover but also extending the area with a stone patio and a space for a hot tub. Within the Timberline Style Gable Roof Patio cover, they wanted to incorporate entertainment and comfort features, allowing them to enjoy the outdoors regardless of how cold it can get in Snoqualmie, WA or the heat of a beautiful Northwest summer.

We began this project by tackling the stone paver patio. Using Eldorado stone and bordering it with slightly darker stones, we immediately started to transform the backyard. Our sister company, Rock Electric, handled all the electrical work for the hot tub hookup.

Next, we focused on the foundation for the new deck and patio cover. We always exceed code requirements for footings and use Simpson brackets to tie all the foundation and framing together, ensuring the project will last for years to come.

The deck was built using Timbertech decking, a composite solution made from up to 85% recycled material, which lasts much longer than natural wood with less maintenance. After completing the roof, we constructed the custom wood fireplace and installed an Hestan Aspire refrigerator.

This project exceeded our customer's expectations, and we can only imagine how much time they now spend in their enhanced living space. Our Rescom Railing team installed the beautiful black American Structures railing that match the black Simpson brackets used on the structure. The completed project features Velux skylights, Lithonia recessed lights, Bromic heaters, and a custom-framed fireplace enclosure to combat the cold Snoqualmie evenings. The addition of electrical outlets throughout the patio provided the homeowner with ample options for hanging lights and a television, perfect for relaxing and watching their favorite shows.
